Accoya decking with a ‘pre-greyed’ treatment was selected for its outstanding dimensional stability and consistent colouration, providing a beautifully weathered appearance from day one—eliminating the uneven ageing process typical of natural timber and ensuring a timeless, elegant look throughout the entire surface.
The substructure, often overlooked was crafted from Accoya too, giving a complete durable system that resists extreme warping, swelling, and decay.
Three staircases were integrated into the design, including steps with angled geometries to accommodate the site’s unique topography. The craftsmanship required for this level of precision highlights the expertise of the installation team.
A discreet, custom-built service cover was designed to allow easy access to pool equipment without disrupting the aesthetic flow of the decking and installed using an invisible screw system resulting in a clean finish elevating the minimalist design.
