Rough Sawn Accoya Chosen for Siding

Rough Sawn Accoya Chosen for Siding

A 55,000 square foot abandoned grocery store was converted to a food hall concept with interior retail vendors, transforming it into a destination for community gathering and activity. Over 20 restaurant tenants of various sizes occupy the space along with locally owned retail storefronts and a 3,000 square foot brewery (Meridian 105 Architecture).

A selection of weathered and rustic materials were chosen to upgrade the existing structures. Rough sawn Accoya wood was installed alongside raw structural steel. It was manufactured by Delta Millworks, branded as their Rough Sawn 2.0, Dry Creek. Murals are also seen on the building facades, painted by local artists.

This project won the AIA Colorado Honorable Mention for Adaptive Reuse award in 2022.
