Knutsford railway station serves the town of Knutsford in Cheshire, UK. PURO Property Partnership Limited assisted in updating the train station by installing new sash windows made of Accoya wood by GB Joinery. Accoya was the ideal choice for the train station as it provided a beautiful look without having to sacrifice performance, as well as being low maintenance.

In addition, Accoya windows were chosen due to coating performance and extended maintenance intervals. The windows were coated a gothic grey to keep with the rest of the aesthetic. GB Joinery was responsible for designing, manufacturing, and installing the Accoya windows, and for this project, it was important to keep the dome-like shape of the windows to maintain the traditional nature of the building.
