The Google office building at Kings Cross, Central London is taking shape with the Accoya façade elements, fabricated by HESS Timber, Germany. The building at 300 metres long is described as a ‘landscraper’ and claimed to be the world’s largest timber and glass façade. The facade required approximately 19 full trucks of Accoya and the mullion sections for each level are typically seven metres / 21 feet tall.
The building is estimated to be completed in 2025.
