Located in the ‘Garden of England’, otherwise known as the county of Kent, a private residential garden has been transformed. Using a combination of Accoya and Tricoya, a custom design was created, manufactured and installed.
The garden transformation was overseen by local landscapers, Gardenproud Limited. They were responsible for the design, putting a modern twist on a traditional Georgian townhouse courtyard in Tunbridge Wells. The requirement to use Accoya and Tricoya meant involving a third party who had the knowledge and expertise for working with such materials. Based in Maidstone, Accoya approved manufacturer, Knights Joinery took on the job and manufactured this enclosed trellis and gate. Complete with finials, this “walled garden” effect was created. Accoya was used because it can be fashioned into any design and shape while withstanding the varied elements of English weather.
Gardenproud commented on their design having been “styled to blend with the house and importantly the downstairs color scheme, so the courtyard works as a seamless extension of the indoor decor”. The color was achieved using Teknos coatings. Gardenproud, Knights Joinery and the homeowner can have confidence their product will stand the test of time thanks to the extensive testing undertaken by Accoya manufacturers Accsys and Teknos themselves.
