Oregon Bach festival selects Accoya siding for its new building, USA

For the first time in its history, Oregon Bach Festival (OBF) now has a building to call its own, thanks to generous lead capital gifts from Andrew & Phyllis Berwick and Donald & Willie Tykeson.

The 10,000 square foot building is located on the University of Oregon campus next to the School of Music and Dance (SOMD) on 18th Avenue. Designed to be the welcoming “front door” to the OBF, the building has been titled Berwick Hall and includes rehearsal, recital and lecture facilities.

Applications used in this project:Siding Siding

Featured throughout the new build, Accoya siding was chosen for its Class 1 durability and unrivaled dimensional stability. Accoya was supplied in 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.2m and 4.8m lengths, making it the ideal siding material for this application.

Accoya wood was also selected due to the fact that coatings last considerably longer and therefore the maintenance upkeep is significantly reduced. Coatings were supplied by Sansin.
