Homeowners of this property in the midlands decided it was time to replace their windows in order to boost their kerb appeal.
Previously they had plastic windows but they choose to replace them for multiple reasons; mainly the look and Accoya wood gave them the design freedom to have custom moulding to get their desired look.

There are many reasons for selecting Accoya. Mainly due to the manufacturer, Midland Joinery Services Ltd recommending the material so highly,

But also for the excellent finish, reduced maintenance, minimal movement, high performance and exceptional sustainability.

Midland Joinery Services Ltd is an approved manufacturer of Accoya wood specialising in windows and bespoke joinery. When we spoke with them regarding this project they commented that they’ve “been a supplier of Accoya joinery for many years now and strongly believe it is the best timber by far”.

This project had three bay windows in total. Two sets with angled sides and the third, slightly smaller with straight sides, but all with individual casements. This was a rather large job for Midland Joinery Services Ltd but they actually found “it a lot easier to work with” due to frames being much bigger than their standard size windows. Around 1.5 m3 of Accoya wood was used for this project.

Before installation, the windows were fully factory finished using Remmers coating in white. Midland Joinery Services always use Remmers as they feel “the quality is the best we have come across”. As well as being able to offer up to 10 years maintenance free due to the extensive Remmers testing with Accoya wood.

The Accoya was supplied by approved distributors, James Latham from their Dudley depot.
