This stunning holiday retreat destination is located in the Western Ghats with a breath-taking views of a lake. This has been inspired by the Sahyadri mountain ranges in it’s proximity, this is the perfect holiday destination for a nature lover who is desperate to get away from hectic pace of Mumbai and indulge in complete peace and quite. From the Natural Wood finished Skylights to the full spanned windows, this project is made to be as close to nature as possible.
The client envisioned a single level pavilion spatially subdivided onto two primary zones; one for engagement with the view during the day and the other as a quiet retreat at night. The living spaces are extroverted and permeable allowing nature to penetrate its envelope; the private spaces are introverted and protected.
Due to the hot climate of India, Accoya was the perfect choice used for all windows, Main Entrance Door, External Sunken Seating.
