The fire watchtower
Accoya wood was the material of choice for the railings, balustrades, and cladding for this striking wooden structure.
The fire watchtower; the ultimate contrast to the steel truss construction frame. This timber architecture has used a variation of wood thicknesses and spacing to create a sophisticated look and thanks to the colour and material combination of Accoya wood, the tower harmonises beautifully with the surrounding natural landscape.
Coatings & Finishes

Case Study
Curved Accoya wood climbing structure
This unique, sustainable and engaging outdoor space features custom-designed outdoor wood play structures. Fabricated by Curvwood using Accoya wood, curved glulam beams and battens were used to produce the impressive Play Pod structure.
It was imperative that the Play Pod wooden climbing structure not only looked impressive but was made from a material with good stability, high durability in often harsh conditions and sustainability credentials. Accoya was the obvious choice.
