As part of the renovation of a typical Breton house in the heart of the Morbihan region, in France, Accoya was the chosen material for new shutters and cladding on the upper part of the house. As the property is located near ocean, it was necessary that the wood was stable and resistant to moisture and harsh weather – an important criterion given the notorious storms in Brittany!
The shutters were crafted by Cube, our Approved Manufacturer, and Accoya was supplied by our distributor Peltier Bois.
The cladding was installed by the client himself, who also by chance is the architect. This renovation with Accoya perfectly combines modernity and tradition: the house retains its Breton authenticity while still being modern. A successful venture thanks to Accoya!
