Indoor-outdoor living is a trend that is most certainly here to stay! For this household based in North Yorkshire, it was vital for the client that the design of the doors would seamlessly integrate the internal living space with the immediate outdoor space. Ryedale Joinery Ltd. came up with a design involving two sets of sliding and folding doors that meet in the middle. In order to elevate some of the weight from the roofing structure, the sliding and folding doors were installed on a bottom-hung system.

All the wood for this project was Accoya timber due to its 50-year above-ground warranty and extended coatings performance, resulting in infrequent maintenance intervals. For this project, the units were manufactured and spray-painted at Ryedale Joinery’s Kirby Misperton workshop in North Yorkshire.
