A beautiful & ambitious project. The new building of Strabrecht College in Geldrop, the Netherlands. The building is completely energy neutral with plenty of space, lots of light and green areas. Here students can develop in a pleasant and appropriate environment.
For the open cladding, different widths of 90, 118 and 140mm with a frame of 30x100mm Accoya wood have been used. The exterior facade, patio walls and walls on the roof are covered with Accoya to shield the air conditioning. The wood is planed, impregnated with a fire class B and finished with a transparent coating.
This new school is allowing Strabrecht College to prepare for the future.
