South of Graz in Austria, very close to the border of Slovenia, Accoya approved supplier, Hechenblaickner, has realised a beautiful private pool.

The pool installation was a new addition to a family home, with plenty of outdoor space and an outstanding view of the Austrian countryside. To compliment this, Accoya Color decking was chosen for the surrounding pool decking and adjacent terrace area.

A total of ​​40m² of Accoya Color deck boards was laid onto a Senofix FT deck system. This allows for invisible fastening, maintaining the beautiful deck boards and ensuring they are barefoot friendly. Another deck system, Gleitfix, was also used on the staggered corners, enabling a consistent design style.

The Accoya Color deck boards were brushed on the visible side to enhance the natural timber grain. This is made possible as Accoya Color timber is coloured throughout.

The striking grey colour requires no coating at all, making it a very low maintenance choice. Overtime, regular Accoya weathers from blonde to silvery grey so choosing Accoya Color removes the transition period and creates a beautiful appearance right from the start.
