Villa Harmony uses Accoya decking

Villa Harmony is a new contemporary villa built in 2022 within a luxury residential neighbourhood located in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. The location of the property is fantastic for internal access to Es Torrent Beach, a famous restaurant just 15 minutes from the airport, trendy Southwest Coast beach clubs along with 24/7 security and even boat tendering facilities within the community.

The property includes a gorgeous grass lawn garden that surrounds the swimming pool, while a cobbled pathway leads to the garage and lower grounds. There is a sea view and a short walk to Es Torrent beach, which serves as a fantastic backdrop for the house. The privileged community of Vista Alegre takes a different approach to study and leisure spaces, whereby the villa joins a separate house within the main house, allowing guests or friends to sit together but with private space.

Applications used in this project:Decking Decking

In order to sync the inside and the outside, thoughtful design solutions have been used to blend the fabulous garden into the everyday living environment. Accoya with an oak colour and lasur finish was chosen for the decking and facade to achieve this seamless blend of inside and outside. The architect, Paco Candel, believed that Accoya would be a great timber to use for decking as it keeps cool in hot conditions while resisting cupping or splintering.

Grupo Gámiz distributed 15m3 of 150 x 50 mm and 150 x 25 mm.

The carpentry company used was Carpintería Gil Almansa.
