Dutch joinery company, Van Leeuwen kozijnen, had an easy decision to make when choosing the ideal material for their new office building, due to such positive past experience with Accoya. As well as the Accoya frames and doors that were produced in their own joinery workshop, 30mm thick panels were also made to fill the space between the frames throughout this project.
To complete the exterior of the project Accoya boards were selected for all the cladding. The cladding was then fixed with an invisible clip system and finished with 2K Akzo Nobel coating. For the square object at the street side of the building Medite Tricoya Extreme (made using Accoya fibers) was also used for the square object at the street facing side of the building.
Thanks to Accoya’s superior dimensional stability, the cladding in the building will stay straight and aligned. In addition to the long lifespan of Accoya, Van Leeuwen kozijnen also selected Accoya wood for its low maintenance costs. Therefore, he also chose Accoya for the frames, doors, panels and cladding. The new office is a nice visual display to demonstrate the talents of the same joinery company that has created a lot of projects with Accoya over the last years.
