Zwarthout was surprised when their new Marugame RAW product was used for this striking cigar lounge at the Quirk & Associates headquarters in Malaysia.
It is the first time that Marugame RAW with a pigeon hunter profile (rough sawn Accoya wood, charred according to the Yakisugi method) has been applied in a project in Malaysia.
Marugame RAW was chosen by the architectural firm because of its beautiful appearance and the stability of the Accoya wood.
The architectural firm Q&A were quoted as saying “We are EXTREMELY pleased with the outcome!”
