The Sash Window Workshop were contacted by a couple in Berkshire looking for a quote for an entrance door.
The couple were in the process of refurbishing their property and wanted a 1930s style front door, with bespoke moulding and two glazed sidelights.
They obtained quotes from a variety of companies before deciding to proceed with the quote from The Sash Window Workshop. The owner specifically chose Accoya due to it being a higher quality wood and the fact that it had a 50-year anti-rot guarantee.
The Sash Window Workshop then proceeded to manufacture and install the new door for them.
The new door was colour matched to a blue Farrow and Ball colour externally and painted white internally and on the frame. The new door was installed with polished chrome ironmongery, including an ERA lock.
After the work was completed, the customer noted that they are very happy with their new front door.
