Ochiltree Bespoke Joinery chose to use Accoya for these two handmade, bespoke pairs of garage doors. Accoya was chosen by Ochiltree due to its longevity. This is illustrated by Accoya’s being highly stable, meaning it is highly resistant to water and will shrink and swell much less in comparison to other wood species, resulting in less movement so that the garage doors can open and close effortlessly all year round. In addition, Accoya is low maintenance as a result of its little to no movement, meaning that your garage doors will remain in tact for years to come as it will not crack and split, as other wood species would.

A Remmers paint system has been used to paint the Accoya doors and frames.
