The mystical Café Flye 1389 located in the middle of the barren landscape of Valdres, Norway allows all visitors to experience some breath-taking views that vary depending on the season, thanks to the vast windows surrounding the restaurant.
Accoya was chosen by Knut Hjeltnes architects for the very deep window frames which double up as window seats, as well as the external doors.
Accoya was the perfect material to use for this project due to its durability and high performance to comfortably combat the extreme weather conditions. The Accoya windows and doors require little maintenance while being naturally insulating which is fantastic for the colder months!
