Accoya replaces Iroko

Manufactured by The Period Door Company Accoya was chosen to replace an existing Iroka door. The owner was tired of the door cracking and having to repaint it yearly which required a lot of maintenance and locking issues.

The Period Door Company suggested Accoya as the best solution and a great investment due to its 50 year guarantee, dimensional stability and its ability not to shrink or swell. A new design unit was built to replicate the old one but Accoya allowed for modern standard being met; this meant that Heritage multipoint locks and Slimlite crown double glazing (built from solid Accoya) could be used.
