Accoya wood has been extensively used in this beautiful private home.  This project included making a range of french doors, bi-folding doors, windows for a new traditional style conservatory and double garage doors.

The homeowners chose Accoya Approved Manufacturers, Against the Grain, for all these elements. This skilled joinery company, located in Katoomba, New South Wales, has been working with Accoya timber since 2013.

The Accoya wood was chosen for its 50 year above ground warranty and has been coated in a variation of colours for this project. Accoya is the ideal material for coatings as it is so stable and the limited movement all year round will prevent coatings from deteriorating. The stability will also allow windows and doors to move freely as Accoya wood will shrink and swell much less than other wood species.
