Accoya was used on the 10 windows and 6 meter-high sliding doors for an extension of an existing bungalow. The client specifically asked for Accoya due to its light and natural colour, which was in tune with the calm nature of the bungalow due to its visual and physical connection with the outdoors. In addition, Accoya’s durability and its use of radiata pine made it an attractive choice for the client.

As a result of this decision, they asked Acacia Joinery, which supplied and manufactured the Accoya, to apply a cutex coating. The homeowner completed the project as a self-build project (with the assistance of builder- Niel Whitford).
