Transformative Design
Accoya was selected as the ideal wood for the cladding of this private residence, proudly supply by ITI NZ. Located in the Lincoln area, the home was designed by Brent Beswick and built by Pete Built Homes Ltd.
The project features a total of 485 linear meters of Accoya in a stunning Charred P55 finish. The wood underwent a charring technique, transforming its originally light colour into a rich, burnt effect.
Applications used in this project: Cladding
Guaranteed Stability
Accoya’s charred timber cladding boards resist twisting, distortion, and warping, making them ideal for easy installation on-site. A protective oil was applied to ensure longevity and maintain the wood’s aesthetic appeal.
Despite the charring process, Accoya remains durable and stable, backed by a 50-year warranty. Its exceptional sustainability credentials further solidified its status as the perfect choice for this extension.
