Accoya decking has been used for the outdoor swimming pool (Freibad) in Schachen, Switzerland.
With outstanding dimensional stability, resistance to rot, and low thermal gain, Accoya is the perfect solution for this swimming spot. Able to resist the varying Swiss climate of snow, ice and well below freezing through the winter, and mild to hot summer days with heavy use.
Invisible fixings mount the Accoya on top of an Accoya structure with adjustable feet. The surface is sanded and uncoated so will transform to a beautiful silver patina over time.
