Accoya wood was chosen for the decking on this custom designed and fabricated boat raft by Michael Green Architecture. The floating dock adds additional space for relaxing near the boat, whale watching and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It floats off the coast of Salt Spring Island, the largest of the southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. Salt Spring Island lies in the Strait of Georgia in between the mainland of British Columbia and Vancouver Island.
Accoya wood’s dimensional stability and resistance to rot make it the right choice, even in demanding and wet locations.
