In 1985, Delta Millworks originated a movement in restoration millwork by repurposing Longleaf Pine reclaimed lumber. Continuing Delta’s principals of pioneering and sustainability, in 2007, Delta introduced the design community to shou-sugi-ban. Delta is the first manufacturer in North America to produce charred wood products on a commercial scale and we are proud of how far we’ve come in developing new techniques and finishes.

Sustainability is a top priority for Delta and by working with modified woods, such as Accoya. We are working to ensure a bright future for wood as a sustainable building material. Today, we offer unique and durable finishes on sustainably-sourced and modified woods throughout the world.
