Accoya Color Grey decking was used to create an idyllic corner in the garden of a private residence. The small oasis of well-being invites you to linger and relax in the midst of flowers and plants, while relaxing on a low maintenance Accoya Color Grey terrace.

The deck was installed in 2020. A year later, the proud owner let us revisit the project so we could take photos of the deck again. These pictures demonstrate what Accoya Grey Deck looks like after 12 months of weathering.

All decking is subject to natural weathering, whereby the wood turns grey over time. But Accoya Grey pre-empts this process, ensuring a consistently beautiful appearance from day one.

Accoya Color Grey decking is very durable and barefoot friendly, as it does not splinter or crack and only becomes slightly warm when exposed to heat. The terrace feels pleasant over the long term, with no warping (cupping). It also will not flake or peel because our non-toxic process is used to dye the timber throughout, from surface to centre.

This decking will not have to be regularly treated and re-oiled and scratches do not have to be corrected. The grey planks also anticipate the natural greying, for a uniform appearance from day one.
