Accoya® cladding is being demonstrated in Fife, Scotland, where it will be exposed to variable weather conditions. The architect chose Accoya® cladding over other alternatives for two key reasons:
1. A maintenance-free period of 10 years can be expected.
2. The cladding will retain its colour and not turn silver/grey as a result of exposure to blue stain.
30m2 of cladding which has been factory coated with Sikkens Natural Balance was installed in August 2006.
